Robert Houle: Sovereignty Over Subjectivity, the WAG’s cornerstone exhibition for the spring and summer, coincides with the run of the Pan Am Games in Winnipeg.

Houle’s exhibition is a critical exploration of land claims and the spiritual place in which his identity is located. An added component of the exhibition is the artist’s creation of site-specific works throughout the city, as well as the Gallery. Sites include the Pool of the Black Star at the Manitoba Legislative Building, Union Station, and The Forks.
