The Art and Expression of the Netsilik, a major WAG-organized exhibition surveying the art of the Netsilik Inuit, opens on December 7.

With 200 carvings by over 30 artists, the exhibition reflects the extensive research travels of the WAG’s Curator of Inuit Art, Darlene Coward Wight. Additionally, it represents the first time an exhibition presents work by Inuit artists in a cultural context, rather than by association with a specific settlement or theme.
