The Holman Eskimo Co-operative donates over 600 graphics produced at its print shop.

Founded in 1961, the print co-op was a means of economic development for the community of Holman (known today as Ulukhaqtuuq), located on the western coast of Victoria Island in the Northwest Territories. Printmaking also enabled the artists to visually depict the community’s oral history. The bulk of the images donated to the WAG were stonecut prints, along with a selection of lithographs and stencil drawings.
