The exhibition Treasures of Dutch Old Masters opens on October 5, featuring 37 landscape, portrait, still life, interior, and genre-scene paintings by 17th century artists Rembrandt (1606–1669), Frans Hals (c. 1580–1666), and Jacob van Ruysdael (c. 1628–1682), among others. The works are major loans from the Detroit Art Institute, The Art Institute of Chicago, National Gallery of Canada, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and others.
