Opening on April 10, the Gallery organizes and displays French Pre-Impressionist Painters of the Nineteenth Century

Comprising 100 oils, watercolours, prints, and drawings from lenders that include the Albright-Knox Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, as well as local collectors R. Alexander Purves (1927-1997), and John Alexander MacAulay (1895–1978), the exhibition features the work of Jean-François Millet (1814–1875), Gustav Courbet (1819–1877), Jacques-Louis David (1848–1925), Théodore Géricault (1791–1824), Eugène Delacroix (1798–1863), and others.
