‚ÄčOn April 16, with the Spanish ambassador in attendance, the Gallery opens El Greco to Goya, a significant display of Spanish artworks from between the 17th and the 19th centuries.

The Gallery had arranged the loan of 29 works by artists such as El Greco (1541–1614), Francisco Goya (1746–1828), and Velasquez (1599–1660) from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Art Institute of Chicago, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York, among others.
