The Gallery organizes and mounts on April 13, Art of the Americas Before Columbus.
Lenders include the Brooklyn Museum, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Peabody Museum. The exhibition includes 225 objects, including pottery, textiles, sculpture in stone, gold, jade, clay, and wood, as well as jewellery. More than 5,000 people visit the exhibition in less than a month. The Winnipeg Tribune declares that the “City has never seen the likes of this show.”
