Serena Keshavjee and Herb Enns signing copies of Winnipeg Modern: Architecture 1945–1975, 2006. Winnipeg Art Gallery.

The WAG becomes the site for a revitalized interest in the province's modern buildings with the exhibition Manitoba Modernist Architecture: 1945–1975, which opens on August 12.

The exhibition is co-curated by Herb Enns, professor of architecture at the University of Manitoba, and Dr. Serena Keshavjee, professor of art history at the University of Winnipeg. The exhibition received support from various Winnipeg-based firms responsible for designing modernist buildings throughout Manitoba.
