This recollection pertains to the upgrade of the gallery's art storage area. It was a very exciting day when cement mixers backed down the ramp on Colony street bringing the supplies of cement down into the basement Suddenly the basement was filled with construction workers who unloaded the cement into wheelbarrows taking it into the area what was once the studio programs area. They spread it on the floor around the rails for the moblie storage units. Later the carriages were installed on these rails and these now have either shelves or racks for art storage. These new units enhanced our storage capacity.
